High Performance Camp

Team Horgan has already begun preparations for the 2004-2005 curling season. The girls started with their first meeting May 6th 2004 and have been busy ever since. The team launched their curling season with the High Performance Camp in Sudbury as a team. Bill Charlebois was the coach that helped out this junior team. Jennifer, Tracy, Amanda, Stephanie and Jan learned on building a championship team, they went over goal setting. They also talked about their team skills. They talked about Strategy vs. Tactics and Risk vs. Reward. They talked about the three basic strategies and what they were. They went over mental toughness, the skills required for mental toughness. The camp was filled with very usefull information and the team will certanily benefit from this experience!
